A subject-specific curriculum

Each week, children from Year 1 to Year 6 will have lessons in the foundation subjects of Geography or History*, Art, Science, Religious Education, Music, PE (Physical Education), Emotional Health, Computing and also French in KS2. There are also daily lessons for English writing, Reading and Mathematics. 

 * In a given half term, children will be taught either geography or history.

Units of work

The foundation curriculum subjects are broken into units, which usually cover half a term, although some may run for the whole term. These have been carefully designed by our subject leaders.
