Welcome to Nursery! 

We are very lucky to have fantastic staff who will support and nurture you children during their time in Nursery.  

Mrs Cardwell is the Early Years Foundation Stage Lead and also the Nursery Teacher, there is also Mrs Jones, Mrs Smith, Miss Cabot and Miss Godfrey who will all be on hand to look after your little ones and help them flourish.

In Nursery we will be spending the year celebrating who we are, our families, our cultures, our homes and many many more special topics all about us.  We will also be having many books based Topics, learning about stories such as 'Going on a bear hunt', Dear Zoo, The Very Hungry Caterpillar and The Gruffalo as well as many more.  

We will be learning phonics and maths knowledge throughout the Year working in smaller groups to understand the basics of number and identifying different sounds which leads onto understanding and know the letter sounds. 

We will be having so much fun in Nursery and the children will be having plenty of discovery time where by they will able to go along with their own ideas and investigate how they would like, we will be with them and yourselves every step of the way.
