In Year 6, we have high expectations for how everyone behaves so that our classroom is a happy and safe place for learning. We try to be respectful to our teachers and friends, listen carefully, and follow instructions quickly. Being kind, working well with others, and staying focused helps us learn better and get ready for secondary school. When we all behave well, we create a friendly classroom where everyone can do their best and feel proud of themselves.
This Year in Year 6 we are learning about World War Two and Living Things and Habitats. We will be using Letters form the Lighthouse as our text driver this half term and in Maths focussing on Place Value, basic number skills and the four number operations.
