Welcome to Year One. 1B is Mrs Baker and Mrs Harrison and 1W is Mrs Walker and Miss Miller.  We are looking forward to an exciting year in Year 1 with your children and we have lots of lovely things planned. 

In Year 1 the children follow the Key Stage 1 curriculum where the children will be learning English, Maths, Phonics (Little Wandle), Science, Design and Technology, History, Geography,  French, Computing, PE, Dance,  Art and Music. We are very lucky to have some specialist teachers who will be teaching us this year, Mr Rebours, Mrs Hopley, Mrs Arnett, Mrs Morrison and Kamryn. The children will be reading in groups everyday and books will be sent home to read and enjoy.  We will be sending books home on Monday's for your child to read to you.
